Will the Streak Finally be Snapped? Who the Packers can Draft with the 15 Overall Pick

Jordan Addison, USC, 6’0, 175 lbs
Jordan Addison seems to be among the favorites to be picked at 15 by the Green and Gold. He had an unbelievably productive college career at Pitt and Usc, winning the Biletnikoff with Pittsburgh in 2021. Addison’s great hands and sharp route running allows for a smooth transition into the NFL, the area for concern is his frame with a typical WR1 boasting a taller stature and additional weight, although there is no doubt Addison will put on more weight as his career goes on. Addison can be an amazing complementary piece to Christian Watson and would allow Love or Rodgers to have a reliable target.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State, 6’1, 200lbs
Similar to Addison, one of Smith-Njigba’s highlights is his ability to create separation, has outstanding body control and great hands. Smith-Njigba will also be an NFL ready prospect similar to his teammate Chris Olave the year prior. The room for concern with Smith-Njigba is the injury he suffered this past season, disallowing scouts and teams to see his growth, but there is no doubt his production in college has been there. If selected by Green Bay Njigba will most likely get looks from all over the field and provide the Green and Gold with an extremely versatile piece for Lafleur’s offense.

Quentin Johnston, TCU, 6’4, 215lbs
Johntston is nothing short of an athletic freak standing at a monster 6’4 with 4’4 speed. Johntston seems to be the favorite to be the first receiver off the board due to his athletic ability combined with the sheer size he has. Johnston can cause many issues for corners due to his height and additionally has the hands and coordination to haul in contested balls. The area of concern is his route running ability due to his size limiting his change of direction, although seeing two giants with blazing speed in Watson and Johnston would be box office.
