Kene Nwangwu Gets Props From One Of The Best To Ever Do It

Returning kicks has never been an easy feat. The NFL has only had 3 kickoffs returned for touchdowns this year. One from Baltimore’s Devin Duverney, one from Atlanta’s Cordarrelle Patterson, and one from Minnesota’s Kene Nwangwu.

The Minnesota Vikings’ running back Kene Nwangwu is currently in his sophomore year in the NFL, and currently leads the NFL in the last two years in kickoff return touchdowns with 3 in that stretch. He had 2 return touchdowns in his rookie season, and just got his first this year, Thursday night against the Patriots.

Former Viking and now Atlanta Falcon, Cordarrelle Patterson broke the record for most return touchdowns in NFL history, getting his 9th in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. It is no question that Cordarrelle Patterson is one of the greatest of all time when it comes to returning kicks, and he even keeps his eyes on the youngsters that might be coming for his record it seems.

After Kene Nwangwu’s 97 yard return touchdown, Patterson took to Twitter, to give the young stud props, from one Vikings return legend, to a soon to be another. Being Tweeted at by one of the greatest return men of all time, telling you that you’re special must be a great feeling for Nwangwu, and Vikings fans can only hope to see him in the endzone more and more as his career goes on.
