The oldest rivalry in the NFL is back on at Soldier Field this Sunday and despite this year being a lost season for both teams there’s so such thing as a dead rubber game between the Packers and Bears.
Quarterback injuries are the big talking point for both teams with Aaron Rodgers leaving last weeks game against the Eagles with a rib injury which allowed the Packers with a very good look at what Jordan Love is capable of.
Rodgers has been a limited participant at practice the past few days however if he feels comfortable enough to play he will be the starter.
Bears quarterback Justin Fields is also having his own injury problems which saw him sit out the Bears loss at the Jets last time out however he was a full participant in practice on Thursday so his status for Sunday will likely come down to a game time decision.
Other notable names on the Packers practice report include Romeo Doubs (Limited) and Devondre Cambpell (Limited) while Darnell Savage and Marcedes-Lewis did not practice at all.
Two huge losses the Bears are wide receiver Darnell Mooney and safety Eddie Jackson both currently find themselves on injured reserve with both their seasons likely to be over.
The Packers have won five consecutive games against the Bears and will be hopeful of making it 6 after last weeks encouraging performance against the Philadelphia Eagles.
