3 Positional Groups That Will Need To Step Up In Order To Succeeded Against the Buccaneers

1. Wide Receivers
As expected the Packers wide receiving group has had quite a slow start, with only two receivers surpassing the 60 yard mark through two weeks (Watkins, Doubs). There is no doubt that the Packers are going to need receivers to step up against Tampa Bay knowing how elite of a run defense the Buccaneers have. According to Tom Silversten, the Packers receiving group may very well be limited with Watkins, Lazard, Cobb and Watson all non-participants at Green Bay’s practice on Thursday.

2. Running Backs
Every Packers fanatic knows that Green Bay’s offense is at it’s best when their star studded running back duo is at it’s best. As mentioned earlier the Packers receivers may very well be restricted, so Rodgers will certainly be giving Dillon and Jones a lot of looks out of the backfield. Aaron Jones had a monster week 2 performance and Dillon will only get better, the running back position is one to look forward to for the Green and Gold.

3. Edge Rushers
The Packers edge rushing duo Preston Smith and Rashan Gary have had amazing starts to their seasons. They will have to continue to step up in order for Green Bay to be able to compete, especially knowing Tom Brady struggles substantially with pressure and the Buccaneers online losing a lot of key pieces.
